Fish that really swim
No frame-by-frame animation. Each fish is a deformable mesh with a sine wave travelling down its body — the faster it swims, the harder its tail whips.
You begin as the smallest fish in the deepest dark. Eat what is smaller, escape what is not, evolve through six stages and climb five ocean zones until you break the surface. Then keep going in Endless mode — dive as deep or rise as high as you dare.
Every sprite, background, sound effect and letter in this game is generated from code. Nothing is stock, nothing is borrowed.

Every creature ships with a normal map. Light direction, colour and strength change with depth and zone, so a fish looks different near the seabed than it does near the surface.
Caustic light nets ripple across the sand, god rays sweep down from the surface, and a full-screen refraction pass keeps everything gently swaying.
Music is layered. When a predator closes in, a tension layer fades up on its own; when you slip away, it fades back down. You feel it before you see it.
Reach the required evolution stage, then swim for the surface. Boss levels make you earn it: feed to charge, strike only while the beast is exposed.
Start mid-water and go wherever you like. What you meet changes with depth — abyssal hunters below, surface schools above — and the pressure climbs the longer you survive.
Every one of the 47 species you meet is added to an in-game guide with its zone, tier, size, speed and behaviour. The ones you haven't seen stay as silhouettes.
English, Türkçe, Español, Deutsch, Français, Português and Italiano. The game picks your device language on first launch.
Each zone has its own palette, light, wildlife and threats.
Pitch black. Bioluminescent lures are the only light — and most of them belong to something hungry.
Cold blue columns and hydrothermal vents. Squid drift past; rays glide below you.
Colour returns. Dense schools, swaying kelp, and a moray waiting inside the rocks.
Sunlight cuts through in shafts. Fast hunters patrol here and they are quicker than you.
Bright, open water under moving waves. The last stretch — and the largest predators.

Deep Rise is free to play. It shows advertising, and there is an optional one-time in-app purchase that removes ads permanently. There is no subscription and nothing is required to finish the game.
No. Banners appear only on menu screens, never during play. A full-screen ad may appear after a level ends, at most once every three levels and never more often than once every few minutes. Rewarded videos are always optional — you choose to watch them in exchange for a continue, a doubled reward or free pearls.
The game itself runs fully offline. A connection is only used to load advertising and, if you buy the ad-free upgrade, to verify that purchase.
