Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026 · Applies to the mobile game Deep Rise and to this website.
The short version. Deep Rise has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we do not run any analytics service. Your game progress stays on your own device. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the advertising in the game and processes device identifiers to do so. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time, or remove ads entirely with a one-time purchase.
1. Who we are
Deep Rise is published by MIRAX SOLUTIONS LIMITED, a company registered in the United Kingdom, of 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). For matters covered by this policy we act as the data controller.
You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we do not collect
We want to be specific rather than vague. The game does not:
- ask you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address;
- collect your name, address, phone number or date of birth;
- access your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera;
- request or use GPS or any other location permission;
- include any analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or social-network SDK;
- send your game progress, scores or settings to us or to anyone else.
We operate no game servers and hold no user database.
3. Data stored on your device
The game saves a small amount of information locally, using the standard Android preferences storage inside the app’s private area. This never leaves your device unless you yourself back it up through Android’s own backup feature.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Level progress, stars, best score | So you can continue where you left off |
| Pearl balance and purchased upgrades | To keep your in-game economy consistent |
| Sound, music, vibration and language preference | To respect your settings |
| Ad-free purchase flag | To stop showing ads once you have paid |
| Timestamp of the last daily reward | To know when the next one is due |
Uninstalling the game removes this data from your device.
4. Advertising
The free version of Deep Rise displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To select and measure ads, AdMob processes information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse region, and interactions with the ads shown. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own terms.

Where ads appear
By design, advertising never interrupts active gameplay. Banners are shown only on menu screens. A full-screen ad may appear after a level is completed, limited to at most once every three levels and no more often than a few minutes apart. Rewarded videos are always initiated by you and clearly labelled with what you receive in return.
Your choices
- Opt out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”. Ads will still appear, but will not be personalised.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: where required, a consent message is presented before personalised advertising is used, and you may change or withdraw your choice from the game’s settings.
- Remove ads completely: purchase the optional one-time ad-free upgrade in the shop.
5. Purchases
Any purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card details, billing address or Google account. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase for this app succeeded, which the app records locally as a flag. Refunds and payment questions are handled by Google Play under its own terms.
6. Permissions the app requests
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Loading advertising and verifying purchases |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Detecting whether a connection is available before requesting an ad |
VIBRATE | Haptic feedback on hits and rewards; can be turned off in settings |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Access to the advertising identifier, used by AdMob; you may reset or delete it in Android settings |
No other permissions are declared.
7. This website
This site is static. It sets no cookies, embeds no trackers, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and troubleshooting; these are deleted on a rolling short-term basis. See our Cookie Policy.
8. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
| Processing | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Storing settings and progress on your device | Necessary to provide the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Non-personalised advertising | Legitimate interest in funding a free game (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Personalised advertising | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), where required |
| Handling a support request you send us | Legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Server security logs on this website | Legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money.
Because we hold no account and no user database, in most cases we simply have nothing stored about you to retrieve or erase. The practical steps to remove data are described on our Data Deletion page. You can still write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Children
Deep Rise is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Parents and guardians can restrict purchases and advertising through Google Play’s parental controls and Android’s Family Link settings.
11. International transfers
Google may process advertising data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Frameworks.
12. Retention
Data kept on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no longer than 24 months. Advertising data retention is governed by Google’s policies.
13. Security
The app stores data in Android’s private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read on a non-rooted device. This website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the attack surface deliberately small: no servers, no accounts and no collected personal data.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, describe them in the app’s store listing release notes.
